Vintage Sterling Ring with marquees faceted hematite cabochon. Beautiful vintage sterling ring! Stamped and tested 925 Solid Sterling Silver, in excellent condition rescued from the scrap man and his melting pot!

A good portion of my pieces are made from recycled and reclaimed materials, and in sourcing those materials I have befriended a local gentleman who sells me scrap metal to rework into my pieces.   

Often while digging through his scrap piles, I find pieces that are mixed into the scrap lot, purchased for their metal weight, and in perfectly good, well-loved condition. I’m given the privilege of digging through the large lots and pulling out perfectly fine, once treasured pieces that I feel should be saved from being scrapped and melted down, deserving of a second chance at a new life! Most are vintage, some are handmade, and all are various sizes. I pull them out if they speak to me, take them home, clean and tighten them up! Most are one of a kind, and once they are gone, they’re gone.
